Pattern Foam is a 1.2 lb density C-Bead EPS Foam. It can be cut and shaped with a hot knife or standard machine tools. Care must be taken when using adhesives or coatings with EPS foams, as solvent based products may damage this type of material. Pattern Foam has the ideal density for the lost foam casting process. It is also suitable for applications where light weight or low cost are desired, but durability is not required.
